Daniel Everett

Elder / Board Secretary

I was raised in West Philadelphia, where early experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, community, and the need for hope in hard places. My journey led me into military service, which taught me discipline, sacrifice, and the value of serving something greater than myself. That path eventually brought me to Chesapeake, Virginia, where I’ve planted roots with my wife and our six children.  Today, I serve as an Elder and Licensed Minister at Seven Cities Church, and I consider it a sacred privilege to help lead a church committed to glorifying God and guiding people to life in Christ. My calling is rooted in a desire to walk with others through discipleship, spiritual growth, and authentic community.  I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and encouraged. Whether through teaching, mentoring, or quiet conversations, I strive to reflect the love and truth of Jesus in everything I do.  I’m grateful to be part of a multiplying church that seeks to bring the Gospel within reach of every home in the Seven Cities. Above all, I desire to remain faithful to the call of Christ and to serve in a way that brings glory to God and hope to others.
